《怪物史莱克》Shrek

　　Anne H. Another instance where a charactertransforms due to the effects of social interactions isin the movie Shrek. Shrek is an ogre and nobody willtake a chance to get to know him. Because of thisisolation from the community Shrek becomesscornful and hateful of other people. Shrek is sent ona journey to rescue Princess Fiona and he isaccompanied by Donkey. Donkey is a keycomponent to Shrek's transformation into acaring and accepting being. He teaches Shrek that "ogres are like onions, they have layers." Like an onion, Shrek has built up a tough skin to keep people out of his life, but over time, ashe sheds the rough layers and opens up to people, it is clear that Shrek is kind. WithoutDonkey's help Shrek never would have come to understand that he can be an acceptedmember of society—he just needs to show people that he isn't dangerous.
