今天我们要学习的是Greasy spoon

Greasy spoon从字面上的意思:比较油腻的汤勺，有点洗不干净的意思哦，其实指的是比较低档一点的小饭馆，就像大家非常喜爱的美剧《Two broke girls破产姐妹花》中的餐馆。

那这个习惯用语能够用的地方还是蛮多的，好像周末喜欢去哪？（和朋友去greasy spoon小聚一下。也可以用哦）

1. Is it expensive to eat out here in China?

Actually, eat out means to have others to prepare our foods in a restaurant which aim to provide foods and services to generate profit. Since here in China we are facing a rapid development on economy, labor cost now is getting higher everyday, even having meals in a low cost greasy spoonwould cost more than cooking at home. I would say it’s quite costly to eat out.

到外面吃其实就是去餐馆，那是一个提供服务和食物赚取利润的地方。因为现在在中国我们经济发展非常快，人工成本上涨非常厉害，就算去那些比较廉价的小餐馆吃饭，都会比在家要来得贵。所以总体来说在外面吃的开销还是挺大的。

2. What’s the differences between fancy restaurant and common one?

From my point of view, restaurants are places that they offer foods and services to create profit. So, The first difference I could think of would be the food they provide in there, in an expensive restaurant it may serve foods with higher end of quality than agreasy spoondoes. Besides, price of them would also be different as well base on this case.

在我看来，餐厅是一个提供服务和食物赚钱的地方。他们最大的区别应该就是食物的品质了，在高档餐厅里的食材和品质要比小餐馆的更高。另外，他们两个的收费也是因为这个有所不同的。
